Located on the second level of a beautiful building that overlooks the beach and bay.

Natural light, ocean views and the sound of the waves creates a calm, open space where you can breathe deeply and feel at ease the moment you walk in.

ABOUT US

We have designed our space and every class to help you down-regulate your nervous system.
Show up exactly as you are, and to listen to your body.

We guide you to listen inward, to move with intuition and compassion, and to give yourself exactly what you need; whether that’s strength, rest, or stillness.

In a world that is overstimulating, competitive, and often rooted in external validation, many movement spaces have shifted away from their essence; becoming about appearance, intensity, and “pushing harder.” This can leave people feeling depleted, disconnected, and unsure of how to support their wellbeing.

Instead of telling our members how they “should” move, we guide you in a way that softens the nervous system and empowers you to listen to your body’s changing needs.

When you step into HUM, we want it to feel like walking into someone’s home.
You’re welcome here, just as you are, and you’re invited to stay as long as you like.

This is a place for good people to come together, to move with intention, to connect deeply, and to leave feeling grounded and nourished.

OUR STORY

Mornington Peninsula local Jordan created HUM from a vision - to offer a space where movement, stillness, and connection come together in a way that feels real and human.

So often, movement and wellness are tied to achievement, perfection, or comparison.
We wanted to create something different - a place where movement becomes a practice of presence, compassion, and listening to your body.

At its heart, HUM is about community.
In a world that often feels busy and disconnected, we believe deeply in the power of genuine human connection.

Our intention is to cultivate a space where people feel seen, supported, and uplifted - a community that grows through shared experience, kindness, and care.

MEET THE TEAM

  • YOGA & PILATES INSTRUCTOR
    PILATES TEACHER TRAINER
    RETREAT FACILITATOR

I completed my yoga teacher training in Mumbai, India, and have been teaching on the Mornington Peninsula and surrounds for the past seven years.

My background in dance naturally weaves into the way I teach - a creative flow between movement, balance, and breath.

I’m passionate about guiding in a way that honours each person’s unique anatomy, and I love integrating meditations that spark inspiration and invite you to embody yoga as a way of life.

My years in dance were often rooted in competition and comparison.
While it was a beautiful practice of discipline and expression, it also revealed the challenge of attaching movement to external validation rather than inner connection.
That contrast has been one of my greatest teachers, showing me the importance of compassion, presence, and creating space for movement that nourishes rather than depletes.

This is why I wanted to open a space like HUM — a studio that doesn’t judge or prescribe, but invites you to show up exactly as you are and to listen to your body.

I can’t wait to practice with you and welcome you into the space 🤍

  • Over the past four years, I’ve worked closely with individuals living with both mental and physical disabilities. In that time, I’ve witnessed just how much we all need a safe space and how powerful it is to feel truly seen, supported, and cared for.

That experience shaped a deeper mission in me: to help people reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with the simple, often forgotten gift of life itself.

I spent years searching outside of myself for answers - trying every healing method I could find, pouring money and energy into anything that promised relief.
I collected knowledge, followed every lead, and refused to give up on myself, even when it felt easier to just settle into the discomfort of a deregulated body and mind.

Transformation only came when I slowed down, tuned in, and finally began listening to my body, not fighting it. The path was so much simpler than I imagined. And that simplicity was where the healing began.

This is why HUM exists. Jordan and I connected through a shared vision: to create a space that brings people back to what matters. A space that isn’t about fixing you but about helping you remember that you were never broken.

We believe healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey but it begins with presence, compassion, and connection.

I migrated here from Colombia and the need for a supportive community has been especially present.

Community is at the heart of why we opened HUM. As we’ve grown older, we’ve noticed how easy it can be to lose those spaces of genuine connection.

We dreamt of creating a place where people feel seen, supported, and uplifted by those around them – a community that builds genuine friendships and support systems.
